This blog will follow Marian Hossa and his 3rd consecutive trip to the Stanley Cup Finals with a different team where he'll likely see the other side win . . . again.
I prefer to think that "third time's a charm".
ReplyDeleteAnd he now has a rather long term contract, he can't just switch sides for a fairly long time
Bite me doughboy
ReplyDeletego console some canook fans with your mouth
"Leads" or "led" his team to the Stanley Cup in 2008, not "lead." Just sayin' ...
ReplyDeleteBut as long as were talking about curses, let's not forget that IF Philly wins the East, they'll be the third straight road team from the Winter Classic to reach the finals. And of course, both of those first two lost.
So if it is indeed 'Hawks-Flyers, we're getting a third straight misfortune of some kind. Considering that whichever team wins the East will be the weakest team (points-wise) that Chicago's played in these playoffs, I'll bet that Hossa finally ends up on the side hoisting the Cup this year.
Sorry about the spelling error; I was trying to be quick. Thanks for the point out.
ReplyDeleteHossa curse lasts longer than Stupid made-up-on-the-fly Winter Classic curse.
ReplyDeleteLets all just hope the NBC love child is gone in 4. Then Hossa can be traded once again, to... the Thrashers? They could use a Stanley Cup finals appearance, right? hahaha.
Sharks in 2011!
Go Blackhawks!
ReplyDeleteD Rock, those other two teams that reached the finals also won the Winter Classic. Flyers didn't so that myth is busted.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, but the Flyers lost in OT . . .they got a point!
